Dr. Arciniegas is a native of Colombia where he received his medical degree from National University of Colombia School of Medicine in Bogota, Colombia.  He successfully completed Internal Medicine training at Hospital San Juan de Dios in Bogota, Colombia and Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, MI.  He also served as the Chief Resident at The Henry Ford Hospital.  Dr. Arciniegas completed his General and Interventional Cardiology training at The University of Alabama at Birmingham.  Dr. Arciniegas is board certified in Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Disease and Interventional Cardiology.  He is an expert in management of acute infarction with urgent angioplasty and stent deployment as well as implantation of ICDs and pacemakers.  He also performs electrophysiolocial studies for diagnosis of cardiac dysrhythmias and can provide treatment with radiofrequency ablation for atrial flutter and supraventricular tachyarrhythmias.  Dr. Arciniegas is available to see patients at Grandview Medical Center.
