Jose Osorio, M.D.

Jose Osorio

Dr. Osorio is one of our newest medical staff members.  He is a native of Brazil

where he earned his medical degree from the Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais. 

He successfully completed training at the University of Alabama at Birmingham in

Cardiovascular Disease and Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology.  He is board certified

in Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Disease and Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology. 

Dr. Osorio served as an Assistant Professor at the University of Alabama at Birmingham

in the department of Cardiology for 3 years and was the Director of Electrophysiology

at the Birmingham VA Medical Center.

Dr. Osorio specializes in the treatment of heart rhythm disorders, such as atrial fibrillation and

ventricular tachycardia. He performs ablations of atrial fibrillation, supraventricular and

ventricular tachycardias and implants pacemakers, defibrillators and cardiac resynchronization

devices.

Dr. Osorio welcomes new and established patients at Grandview Medical Center.
