Juan M. Bernal, M.D., MSc., F.A.C.C.
Dr. Bernal is a native of Colombia where he received his medical degree from Colombian School of Medicine, El Bosque University in Bogota, Colombia. He earned a Masters degree in Basic Biomedical Science from The University of Alabama at Birmingham. After completion of his Masters degree, he traveled to Detroit, MI and successfully completed Internal Medicine training at Henry Ford Hospital and Cardiovascular Disease training at Wayne State University. Dr. Bernal also successfully completed Interventional Cardiology training at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston, MA. He specializes in interventional cardiology, nuclear imaging, and echocardiography. Dr. Bernal welcomes new patients at the Grandview Medical Center location as well as Norwood Clinic in Fultondale.
