Peter Szeto, M.D.
Peter Szeto, MD, grew up in China, Hong Kong and Canada. He earned a bachelor’s degree in Human Physiology and a master’s degree in Cardiovascular Physiology from the University of British Columbia, Canada. He attended medical school at the University of Calgary in Alberta, Canada. His internship and residency in Internal Medicine, and his fellowship in Cardiology, were completed at McMaster University in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada. Dr. Szeto was a Clinical Scholar in Invasive Cardiology at Hamilton General Hospital.
In 1994, after practicing in Canada for seven years, Dr. Szeto moved to Gadsden where he has been in private practice.
Dr. Szeto and his wife Mary have three sons. He enjoys carpentry and music composition.
